Domain Registration

Domain names are strings of letters used to name organisations, computers and addresses on the internet. They act in a similar way as to a telephone switchboard number for your organisation. The switchboard is able to route calls to a specific user (computer) in your organisation.

A special named computer located at www.yourdomain.tld is usually set up to host your organisation's website.

Registering a domain name is simple as long as no-one has already registered the domain you want.

1. Determine the domain name (name space) where you want to register your domain.

2. Check that your desired domain name is available via our online registration tool and complete the online registration. (http://domains.akunaservices.com)

3. Manage you domain (if necessary), via our domain management interface or call us for assistance.

4. You can configure services using your control panel.

Pricing for domains differs amongst different registrars. We can register domains in any of the following categories:

Any changes to domain names including tag changes can be actioned by writing a letter on the domain owners letterhead and sending it to our business address. All outstanding balances must be paid before domains are transfered away.
